Noonie's Crafts at home are craft activities that are offered within the home, aiming to reach adults that are unable to access them going out in the community. Crafting is known to be beneficial to mental health and wellbeing and I want to make it accessible to as many people as possible. I craft along with you* making an identical project which makes my sessions perfect for visual learners.

* This is with the exception of machine embroidery, it will not be possible for me to craft along for these projects.

A little about what I do……….I offer craft activities within the home, aiming to reach adults that are unable to access them going out in the community. Crafting is known to be beneficial to mental health and wellbeing, I want to make it accessible to as many people as possible. I craft along with you* making an identical project which makes my sessions perfect for visual learners.

A little about me………..I’ve always had a love/passion of crafting. As a child my family took time to craft with me, I remember Mum showing me how to crochet granny squares and knit a scarf for my doll; my Nan showing me how to hand sew little clothes for my teddies and how to bake; my dad showing me how to use his tools so I could make a go-cart out of old pram wheels and wood. I still love to have a go at all crafts but my favourite at the moment is machine sewing and machine embroidery. My other love/passion is caring for people. I have over 30 years of care experience. I started at 12 years old helping care for my Nan after she had a stroke, at the present time I support/care for several family members and the biggest percentage of my working life I have worked within the care sector.

Craft activities include 1 to 1 in person step by step instruction, support given throughout, use of any tools and equipment needed, any materials needed to complete your project, power supply and your completed project. All you need is a small dining table size space, approximately 120x75cm, for us to be able to work from.

IMPORTANT: Please read the terms and conditions on the bookings page before purchase. Instruction is for Noonie's Crafts - Crafty Carer Home Activities only. Activities are suitable for beginners. I craft along with you to show you step by step how to create your project, making these sessions perfect for visual learners. Prices include 1 to 1 in person step by step instruction, support given throughout, use of any tools and equipment needed, any materials needed to complete your project, power supply and your completed project. All you need is a small dining table size space, approximately 120x75cm, for us to be able to work from. Rotherham and surrounding areas only. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be able to help you fully complete any of my activities within the hour, this option is offered if you wish to breakdown activities into regular hourly sessions (weekly, fortnightly, monthly etc.). I’ll show you how to make your own machine embroidered felt decoration, giving you the knowledge going forward so you can create your own project independently. Prices include 1 to 1 in person step by step instruction, support given throughout, use of any tools and equipment needed, any materials needed to complete your project, power supply and your completed project. You will need to provide a small dining table size space, approximately 120x75cm to work on, with room around the area to comfortably move around/sit down to complete the project. Access to a sink and water will be also required for this project. Fabrics in product pictures are examples only – fabric provided will differ.

I’ll show you how to make your own machine embroidered appliqué, giving you the knowledge going forward so you can create your own tote bag independently. Prices include 1 to 1 in person step by step instruction, support given throughout, use of any tools and equipment needed, any materials needed to complete your project, power supply and your completed project – your completed tote bag fit a standard A4 ring binder. You will need to provide a small dining table size space, approximately 120x75cm to work on, with room around the area to comfortably move around/sit down to complete the project. Access to a sink and water will be also required for this project. Fabrics in product pictures are examples only – fabric provided will differ.
