Gingerbread Christmas Tree

As well as a tree decoration this could be used to decorate your festive dinner table as a place card for your guests to then keep as a gift.

The gingerbread is machine embroidered using appliqué pieces to give a lovely 3D effect. The different colours of felt used to create the details are laid stitched into place then trimmed to shape by hand. A ribbon is added. The final outline is carefully cut by hand.
